Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of iykyktravel.com (the “Site”), operated by IYKYK Travel (“IYKYK Travel,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Site, submitting a bespoke request, or using our chat assistant, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Site.

1. What IYKYK Travel is

IYKYK Travel is a travel curation and concierge service. We are not a licensed travel agency, tour operator, airline, hotel, car rental company, or cruise line, and we do not sell, underwrite, or guarantee any travel product ourselves. The Site provides:

• Search tools that route to our third-party travel partners’ live inventory for flights, hotels, rental cars, and cruises;
• Editorial content — destination guides, journal articles, and curated collections; and
• A bespoke concierge intake form and an AI-assisted chat widget that help route your request to our team or to a relevant destination guide.

Every booking you complete is a contract between you and the third-party partner that actually fulfills it (see Section 3), not between you and IYKYK Travel.

2. The AI chat assistant

The chat widget on this Site is an AI assistant, not a human travel agent, and its responses are generated automatically. It can suggest destinations and surface a booking link, but it does not have access to real-time availability beyond what our search tools return, cannot make bookings on your behalf, and its suggestions are not a substitute for professional travel advice. For anything that needs a real person, use our bespoke concierge form or contact us directly.

3. Bookings are completed with our travel partners

When you search or click through to book a flight, hotel, rental car, or cruise, you leave iykyktravel.com and complete your purchase directly with our travel partner (currently including Expedia, DiscoverCars, and Travelpayouts’ partner network) under that partner’s own terms of service, privacy policy, pricing, availability, cancellation, and refund policies — not ours. Read the partner’s terms before you book. IYKYK Travel is not a party to that transaction and cannot change, cancel, or refund a booking made with a partner; contact the partner’s own support team for anything related to an existing reservation.

4. Affiliate & commission disclosure

IYKYK Travel participates in affiliate marketing programs, and most links on this Site that lead to a booking are affiliate links. This means that if you click through and complete a purchase with one of our travel partners, IYKYK Travel may earn a commission or referral fee from that partner. This is how we fund the Site and our editorial and concierge work.

Concretely, this applies to (without limitation):

• Flight, hotel, and cruise search results and booking links, which route through Expedia’s affiliate program (via the Partnerize network) and Travelpayouts’ affiliate network;
• Rental car search and booking links, which route through DiscoverCars’ affiliate program; and
• Any “deal,” collection, destination, or property page that links out to a partner’s site to book.

Earning a commission never changes the price you pay. You pay the same price you would if you went directly to the partner’s own site — the commission is paid by the partner out of their own margin, not added on top of your fare or rate. We do not accept payment from partners in exchange for favorable editorial coverage; our destination guides, collections, and “founder picks” reflect our own editorial judgment, and a property or partner’s presence in our affiliate network does not by itself determine whether or how we feature it.

Links marked for search engines with rel="sponsored" throughout the Site are how we disclose affiliate/commercial links to Google and other search engines, consistent with their guidelines — this is a technical disclosure in addition to, not instead of, this Section.

5. Full disclaimer

The Site and all content on it are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Specifically:

• No guarantee of accuracy. Prices, availability, itineraries, amenities, and other details shown on the Site are pulled from third-party sources and can change or be wrong by the time you view or book them. Always confirm final price, dates, and terms directly with the booking partner before you pay.
• Editorial content is not professional advice. Destination guides, journal articles, packing lists, and similar content reflect general opinion and are for informational purposes only. They are not travel-agent, medical, legal, visa/immigration, or safety advice. Entry requirements, vaccination rules, and travel advisories change without notice — confirm current requirements with the relevant embassy, consulate, or official government source before you travel.
• Third-party content and links. The Site links to and embeds content from third parties (booking partners, Unsplash photography, and others). We don’t control and aren’t responsible for third-party websites, their content, their availability, or their practices once you leave iykyktravel.com.
• No guarantee of results. We don’t guarantee that any search will find a given fare, room, or sailing, that a “deal” will still be available when you click it, or that our concierge team can accommodate any specific bespoke request.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, IYKYK Travel and its owners, operators, and contributors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of travel opportunity, money, or data, arising from your use of the Site or any booking, transaction, or interaction with a third-party partner linked from the Site — even if we’ve been advised of the possibility of such damages. Nothing in these Terms limits liability where the law does not allow it to be limited.

7. Intellectual property

The Site’s design, original text, and branding are owned by IYKYK Travel. Photography is licensed from Unsplash contributors and credited where it appears; third-party trademarks (Expedia, DiscoverCars, and others) referenced on the Site belong to their respective owners and are used to identify our travel partners, not to imply endorsement of IYKYK Travel by them.

8. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect once posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Continuing to use the Site after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to IYKYK Travel’s place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where local consumer protection law requires otherwise.
