Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information IYKYK Travel (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects through iykyktravel.com (the “Site”), how we use it, and who we share it with. It does not cover the practices of the third-party sites you book through — see Section 4 below.

1. Information we collect

We collect information in three ways:

• Information you give us directly. If you submit our bespoke concierge form, we collect your name, email, phone number, destination, travel dates, budget, and any notes you include. If you message our chat assistant, we collect the text of that conversation.
• Search inputs. When you use the flight, hotel, or car search on the Site, we pass your search criteria (origin, destination, dates, passenger count) to our third-party search providers to return results — we don’t retain a searchable profile of your search history ourselves.
• Automatically collected information. Like most websites, our hosting and analytics infrastructure may log standard technical data (IP address, browser type, pages visited, referring URL) for security and performance purposes. See Section 5 for the specific tracking script we use.

We do not collect payment information. All bookings are completed on our travel partners’ own sites, so your payment details go directly to them, never to us.

2. How we use your information

• To respond to a bespoke concierge request and route it to our team;
• To generate a response from our chat assistant and, where relevant, surface a booking link;
• To run the search tools and return live results from our travel partners;
• To operate, secure, and improve the Site; and
• To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information.

3. Who we share information with

• Bespoke requests are forwarded to our internal contacts/CRM system so our concierge team can follow up with you.
• Chat conversations are processed by Anthropic (the maker of the Claude AI model that powers our chat assistant) solely to generate a response — see Anthropic’s own privacy policy for how they handle API data.
• Search queries are passed to Travelpayouts (flight and hotel price data) and, when you click through to book, to the partner you’re booking with (Expedia, DiscoverCars, or another partner in our network).
• We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of IYKYK Travel or others.

4. Third-party booking sites & affiliate links

Most links on this Site that lead to a booking are affiliate links to travel partners (see our Terms of Service for the full affiliate and commission disclosure). Once you click through to a partner’s site, that partner’s own privacy policy governs any information you give them there — we don’t receive your payment details or booking-specific data back from them beyond aggregate affiliate reporting (e.g., that a click converted to a commission).

5. Cookies & tracking technologies

The Site loads a tracking script from Travelpayouts (“Travelpayouts Drive”) used to attribute affiliate bookings back to us and measure which pages drive conversions. This script may set cookies in your browser. We don’t currently run our own first-party analytics or advertising cookies. You can block or clear cookies at any time in your browser settings; doing so may affect affiliate attribution but won’t affect your ability to browse the Site.

6. Data retention

We keep bespoke request submissions and chat transcripts only as long as needed to respond to your request, provide support, and meet our own record-keeping and legal obligations. We don’t retain search queries as identifiable records once results are returned.

7. Your choices & rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you (for example, a bespoke request you submitted) by emailing concierge@iykyktravel.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws like the GDPR or CCPA/CPRA — contact us and we’ll do our best to honor applicable requests.

8. Children’s privacy

The Site is not directed at children under 16, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we’ll delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes take effect once posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.
